Graffiti is a major issue concerning the voting public in the Denver area. In a recent survey, graffiti was ranked number one as the most serious problem in Denver. We attended Mayor Hickenloopers' Summit on Graffiti and we are actively involved with the Mayor's Task Force on Graffiti. As a result, we have come to realize the complexity of the issues at hand. Not only are we dealing with vandalism, but we are dealing with a social problem. There is actually a computer game called "Tag" that makes a game of tagging private property. There are TV commercials and print ads that show tagging as a "cool" thing to do. For these reasons, we are active in the schools presenting the negative aspects of tagging.

Graffiti removal is not simple. The many surfaces susceptible to damage require different methods of removal. It is not just a matter of going out and pressure washing it off. Nor is it a matter of painting over it with some random color. Graffiti Eaters, Inc. feels that removal must take into consideration the end result. We cannot accept anything less than the resoration of the property. We are experts at doing just that. Sound expensive? Not necessarily. Through experience, we know the best procedure to use on the damage. Sometimes our process will clean the area so well that it looks different than the surrounding areas. Aesthetic considerations are of high priority. We will blend the clean area with the existing original area for a more pleasing effect.

Our methods have been proven in the field. For simple clean-ups we use a product specially formulated for our needs. It si biodegradable and safe. We carry MSDS sheets in every truck. For really stubborn areas, we use water-borne baking soda removal system. The process is safe and effective. The same equipment was used for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty. You can actually eat the baking sode used in our process. We also have the capability to contain runoff to protect watersheds where indicated.
